NHS SHARED BUSINESS SERVICES FRAMEWORK
James Totty Partnership LLP are proud to announce that from 2018 to 2022 we will be a part of the 
NHS SHARED BUSINESS SERVICES FRAMEWORK offering ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES.
What is the NHS SBS Framework?
The SBS Framework provides Estate, Facilities and Capital teams with a compliant route to market for the provision of Consultancy Services from a wide range of specialism's utilising both SME and national providers. The framework delivers a range of pricing options for both Traditional and Design and Build Options and New and Refurbished projects.

PRINCIPLE DESIGNER
Under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM 2015) every Client who commissioning a building project has a duty to make sure their project is suitably managed, ensuring the health and safety of all who might be affected by the work, including members of the public. 

James Totty Partnership LLP are experienced 'Principle Designers' and are able to support our clients through the process.  The role of a a principle designer is to plan, manage, monitor and coordinate health and safety during the pre-construction phase of a project.
BREEAM
BREEAM is a sustainability assessment method for building projects which recognises and reflects the value in higher performing assets across the built environment life cycle.  BREEAM does this through third party certification of the assessment of an asset’s environmental, social and economic sustainability performance, using standards developed by BRE. 

James Totty Partnership have produced designs for and delivered numerous BREAAM Very Good and Excellent rated buildings for our Clients. We recognise that close liaison and monitoring of the design process across the consultant disciplines is essential to ensure the environmental consequences of the entire design align with our own vision.
BUILDING INFORMATION MODELLING (BIM)
BIM (Building Information Modeling) is an intelligent 3D model-based process that gives architecture, engineering, and construction professionals the insight and tools to more efficiently plan, design, construct, and manage buildings and infrastructure.  Using a 3D design software package called Autodesk Revit all aspects of building design and coordination are fully carried out in 3 dimensions which ensures all aspects of the Architectural, Structural, Mechanical and Electrical design are fully coordinated.

James Totty Partnership LLP are working towards BIM Level 2 accreditation with the BRE, a certification process which ensures the concepts and requirements of PAS 1192 are fully incorporated into our work flows.  We understand the importance of effective collaboration between disciplines and promote this throughout design process.
